      Rides great
Good bike especially for the price. It’s definitely gets up there. I can’t quite reach the 28 mph mark but workin on it. Battery full throttle probably lasts around 20 or so miles I am gonna upgrade to 20AH because and have the stock as a spare. Once you learn to ride it it is easy and very enjoyable. One thing to watch out for (which you can switch off I believe) it how quick the pedal assist kicks in depending what level you are on but you get used to it fast. Once I get the larger battery I plan on using it for 40+ miles a lot of days and I think it’ll get me around quickly.

      Fun
I liked it was easy to assemble on my own. I got a free bike lock as a gift. Fitting the backrest was difficult i did have to go to the store to get a tool as i could not access the screw, once i got it off it was easy to instal. Wife and I went for a spin around the block and I can see us having fun with it. She was on the back. Only had it a day so far so good.

      Very strong battery
The bikes came extremely well packed and protected. They were mostly assembled, but it took a long time to remove all of the protective stuff from the bikes. They were very easy and intuitive to unfold and lock into their riding position. Be aware that the bikes a very quick - they really jump when you twist the throttle. The batteries appear to be quite strong. I took one of the bikes out for a quick ride, and then left the key on overnight, and in the morning the battery was still full.My only issue was that the plastic cover that protects the battery plug broke off the first time I tried to open it. That said, Rattan has been very easy to work with and immediately offered to send me a new one. Assuming it arrives as promised, I give 5 stars to their support team.I did a lot of research before buying this bike. These bikes are a great deal for the money.

      Wow a great freaking deal!
OK so I’m a long time bicyclist and I bought another electric bike last year that kind of broke down. 🙄 but I liked it while it lasted then after talking to a electrical engineer and learning about my bike I decided to look for another one while I get this one fixed that’s what I found this freaking bike!I live down a winding hill and I take the bike to work so I need one that can tackle strong hills, so 750 is good but the one they sold me originally only had PEAK power of 750 (basically a lie) this one has peak power of 1150 and it is a BIG DIFFERENCE 😳🔥Honestly, other than the fact that it’s hard to find service for small company e-bikes this is the best bargain I’ve found by far especially the baskets that make it a cargo bike. Finally, yes, it helps with the environment. Yes, it’s good exercise and yes, it saves money but none of that matters because e-bikes are very very fun!! 😎

      Very Happy w/this Bike!!!
Very good quality. Feels very solid. Has great power. Gets up to speed very quickly. Let me inform everyone of the realistic performance of this bike because we will know that the stats that they list are never accurate. So between myself and my 5 year old son on the back seat we are a combined weight of maybe a little over 200lbs. With the bike in the highest assist mode #5 the bike goes about 25mph maybe 26 tops. And as far as distance with a fully charged battery in the highest mode #5 using almost purely electric and hardly any pedal assist the bike went approximately 20 miles before the battery died. I hope this helps you all when deciding if you would like to purchase this bike or not. If u wanted my opinion I would definitely recommend this bike I think it was worth every penny I spent. I wanted an e-bike with good performance that wasn't extremely expensive and could accommodate myself and my 5 year old son and this bike does all that and more... it's perfect!!!

      Its a Bad Boy!
No se ha podido cargar el contenido multimedia. After spending time researching several fold up ebikes, I felt led to pull the trigger on this Rattan. Boy did I make a good choice!! I love this bike.It is well built and provides a riding experience second too none.. the only thing that bothers me about the design of the bike is, I have to take the seat off every time to get the battery out. Also leaving the key in it the whole time while riding. My other ebike has a switch on the battery I can turn it on then pull the key out and its ready to ride. I put the key back in my pocket for safe keeping while I'm riding. Other than that, the bike is exhilarating, amazingly fun and fast.. I've rode several ebikes before but none like this one. I'm 63 years old, and rode motorcycles for years also, but I'm having a blast with this ebike!!... Oh, and another thing is, it was practically already assembled out of the box... cuddos Rattan...I highly recommend it folks!!... I'm very happy with this product.. In fact this review is so good one might think I'm being paid. Well I'm not, but i would love to do a video review for a second Rattan.... Lol... Just saying...

      E-Bikes are new.
First things first. I ordered the LM model with Basket in black. The bike arrived about 5 days later via FedEx and 3 days earlier than expected. The write up says it is 95% assembled, but for me it was like 99.9%. I don't plan on a passenger so I didn't need to add the foot rests or seat back. It was folded up in the box and covered with packing material. I didn't have any helper to lift it out so I just cut open one side. After unpacking, I unfolded it and the locks felt secure. I found the kickstand and then read the manual. There was no basket as there should have been so I sent a note through Amazon. I did not get any correspondence from the seller, but FedEx brought a box with front and rear baskets today, 2 or 3 days later. There are no instructions, but I can figure it out.I went for a test ride and it has a lot of zip. Everything seemed to work well. It easily went up a hill and hit 20 mph I believe them that it has about 80 NM of torque. It felt a little loose so I will go over it and tighten all the nuts and bolts. I will also get out the bike stand which will make it easier to work on.I have a 150cc Vespa scooter which requires a motorcycle license and protective gear. I think that I will wear my motorcycle helmet on this because I found myself going faster than I normally do on a bicycle. I bought this E-Bike for exercising me and the dog. I will add more here later.I am adding more now.I upped this from 4 to 5 stars. It is quite sturdy. The PAS gives a lot of assist so the dog gets more exercise than I do. As I mentioned, the initial delivery did not have the baskets as it should have, but they came 2 days later. I suspect the basic bikes are all packed up in advance because there was all kinds of packing material, and any extras like baskets are sent separately. The baskets were easy to install. The hardware did not include any lockwashers, just nuts, bolts and flat washers. I had some nuts with nylon inserts on hand so I used those to be more secure. I think the baskets need that or lockwashers if you plan to take it off and on.My wife bought a fancy bike carrier, unfortunately this bike will not fit. It needs a carrier that will accommodate the fat tires, 4 to 5 inches, and also the weight, ebikes are heavier, 60 to 70 pounds at least. The carrier may list a total weight, just be sure it gives a per bike limit as well. Also, with the extra weight, can you pick the ebike up to put it in the carrier or do you need a ramp or other assistance? As I said, I like the protection of a motorcycle helmet as opposed to a bike helmet. It is more restrictive, but this ebike easily hits 20+mph and my head is quite valuable. One study looked at head injury location in motorcycle accidents. Most were face, chin and parietal (side) injuries and very few occipital (back) and sagital (top) injuries. The motorcycle helmet gives better coverage and stronger protection to these critical areas. IMHO.

Solid, well built and dependable !!
I'm a 64 year old bike Mountain bike rider who finally had to have my knee replaced. Still wanting to ride, I looked into the Rattan. Being my first electric bicycle, I did my homework. I wanted a folding bike with the larger 4.0 tires, and this Rattan fills all my needs and then some. Built like a tank but it rides smoothly and comfortably. Front shock is just enough bounce. Geometry is spot on for my size, which is 5'10". Disk brakes are sure and work well. Acceleration and power are NEVER a problem with the 750 watt rear motor. I have already purchased a 2nd battery as these types are available for just over $200, are easy to carry on the rack, and double your range, which is already excellent,. Shimano components work well and the light is bright. Easy to understand controls and it hits 29mph with me riding it, and I go 235lbs. Acceleration is quick, sure and reliable. You can't go wrong with this bike, and the folding is just icing on an already nice bike. I LOVE THIS BIKE......

      30 day review.
My plan was to purchase an eBike to store in trailer to take camping. Primary function being; park trailer use bike to ride down dirt roads to make sure spot was empty and we could “make” it thru with trailer. When I receive eBike it was well packed and easy to assemble. (There are several videos on the internet showing people unboxing/assembling) I thought there was a small (about 2in) mark/scratch on the frame, but it turn out that it is the residue from the expanding foam. (I did attempt to remove, but didn’t want to damage paint and it doesn’t bother me).For reference: In the past 30 years I only rode a bike for about 3 month (failed attempt at exercise)During my first test drive I was hooked.Hard to explain, but riding up and down the street effortlessly just made me want to ride more.I decided to take eBike out for a few days until I got tired of it.I have had the eBike for 30 days.According to phone gps app I have logged 225 miles.80% on greenway or bike path on road. (I try to stick to greenway)15% on dirt roads.5% on bike trails. (Not really my thing, but I wanted to test it out)I have since gotten the first/rear basket and regularly go to store.Needless to say I love it.At first, when I used the throttle I had the tendency to go full throttle, which would make the bike take off.Now I rarely use the throttle. For the most part I have the bike in Peddle Assist level 2 or 3, gear at #7 and just peddle.I still have to learn how to use and get comfortable with gears. (it is hard to peddle from a stop at intersection when you are in gear 7 and at 0 peddle assist.)Basically I am still learning the best ways to use peddle assist/gears. (It is unsafe to “hit” the throttle from a stop at intersection when you are in peddle assist 5)I would also recommended to go through the controller setting.1. Set bike size to 20 (MPH and miles driven are now closely match gps….not exactly, but close)2. Some throttle and peddle sensitivity. I fiddle with the numbers until it matched what I expected.Top SpeedHonestly I am not a good reference for top speed and that is not my thing. For a short time in Peddle assist 5 and peddling I was able to maintain 25-26 mph for about a mile.Like I said speed isn’t really my thing, I prefer cruising @12-15 mph(I will be honest sometime 15mph seems too fast for me, especially on slight curves)RangeOf course it varies on weight, wind, how much you peddle ect ectWhat I have noticed is that as I am getting better at using gears and peddles I am getting more range. For example, at first I would rely on throttle or increase peddle assist level to maintain my speed going up a hill or slight incline. Now I try to shift gears and peddle longer. It definitely seems like I am using less bars on battery for similar trip that I took at beginning. (This is just empirical observations, I didn’t do any data collection)(I did do one 20 mile ride and had about 40% of battery left)I did drop my bike while adjusting the kickstand and completely yank out the wires and cracked/broke the throttle case. This experience taught me that I will not be getting much, if any support from my local bike shops. (The bike mechanic was helpful and told me how I could replace part, but they didn’t order parts)In less than 24hrs, using the internet, ordering a part from amazon and I am sure some luck cause I wasn’t sure if new throttle assembly would work, I was able to replace the part.F.Y.I. search for SHYEKOY Half Twist Throttle in amazon to replace throttle for Rattan LM750DurabilityI don’t know. Looks/feel sturdy but I have only had it for a month. I think if I keep up with maintenance it will easily last over 3 years.Overall this eBike has been great. I am not sure what it was that got me hooked, but I am.Things I recommend:Phone Holder and GPS appLock. (I also got an air-tag, not a guarantee but it is something)Oh and about the “back” seat. I never planned on using it, actually I took it off during the assemble portion. I have enough worries keeping myself safe, I am not going to risk someone else.I also can not tell you how easy it is to fold. In the month I have had it, I only folded it once and it fit in the back cab portion of a Ram 1500 (seat up of truck and no basket on bike)

      Decent bike, slippery service
OK, so I’ve had this bike now for a little over a year. One day, about eight months after purchase, it just stopped working. The display would come on and would indicate all is well, but none of the pedal assist would work at all. Neither would the throttle. Fortunately, there was a number that I could call for Service. After quite a bit of back-and-forth, numerous requests from them for videos and pictures, they sent replacement parts (some of which weren’t even for this bike) all with no success. More videos and more pictures and all they wanted to do was send more parts. Somewhere the same parts that they had already sent once and didn’t work. so, I did a little more hunting and found that they actually have a brick and mortar repair facility near San Bernardino California (outside LA).So I drove 150 miles from San Diego to San Bernardino to have them fix it. I was prepared to leave it. They said “no, we can fix it while you wait! “I thought “Great! These guys are going to get five stars from me for excellent service!”45 minutes later, they said they replaced the controller and fixed the bike and had me do a test ride. The bike worked, and I was on my way. Fast-forward the clock a little while longer, and I’m out riding and noticed that the sleeve around the wire bundle that comes up from the controller had slipped down a little bit. I look a little closer, and I noticed that one of the connectors had pulled loose. Turns out it was the right brake light. When you squeeze the handle, the tail light brightens a bit. I plugged the connector back in.Wouldn’t you know it, the bike was behaving exactly as it was before I brought it in for Service. When I was doing all of the diagnostics, I did notice that the brake light wasn’t working either. I didn’t notice it when I did the test ride because I was focused on the fact that the bike was even working at all. That was my bad. So all I can figure is that Service didn’t actually replace the controller as they claimed, they simply unplugged the brake light and everything was working properly so they carefully hit it with cable wraps and the sleeve and hope I wouldn’t notice.Well, eventually I did notice. And I’m here to warn you that if you buy this bike and you need any kind of service be prepared for a great deal of hassle and probably a sleazy mechanic technique to get you on your way. Had I not had any trouble with his bike, I probably would have given it five stars. Structurally it is a great bike with lots of power. But an e-bike, by definition, is powered by electronics. Electronics can fail. And when they do, you need to be able to rely on good service. Not sure that’s an option with this bike.Caveat emptor.
